New Balance’s Made in USA Seasonal program continues next week. Their latest batch of sneakers includes another pair of the beloved 992, this time dressed in a breezy “Sea Stone” blue shade.
The 992 debuted back in 2006, as a part of New Balance’s celebration of 100 years in the footwear industry. The runner followed in the footsteps of giants, serving as the third installment in the 99x family. The model has held its own amongst heavy hitters ever since, and is one of the most beloved lifestyle models in the Boston brand’s arsenal. After a series of releases in the early 2020s, the 992 returned to the fold in 2024, and has been a staple of the Made in USA line ever since. This week, the runner is getting another new look for Spring, dousing the runner in a “Sea Stone” blue colorway. The look adds a purple suede heel tab, Green Apple Abzorb cushioning elements, and a hint of Maize gold to complete the palette.

New Balance’s next release of their Made in USA 992 is scheduled to arrive next week, on April 30th, 2026. The new look comes in a smooth “Sea Stone” blue color with accents in Green Apple and Maize gold. Pairs will be available from both NB and select retailers for $200.
