The New Balance 992 will continue to debut in new colorways throughout the year, with releases starting to heat up for the Summer. This week, we have a first look at a new “Gold” colorway, dropping later this week.

It should be no surprise by now that New Balance has revived the beloved 992 silhouette for 2020, releasing the retro runner in a surprising number of new colorways and collaborations throughout the year already. This month alone, the Boston-based brand has released a handful of in-line color schemes in abundance, but they move too quickly to sit on shelves even for a day. Luckily, New Balance is quick with new colorways, as today as have another first look at an upcoming “Gold” color scheme releasing later this week. Utilizing the typical 992 color blocking, the new look adds bright golden yellow paneling to all of the shoe’s suede overlays as well as the mesh base layer. The synthetic leather additions remain in simple grey, while a 3M reflective ‘N’ logo completes the look.
