New Balance’s retro silhouettes have been all the rage in sneakers recently, prompting the Boston brand to revive some of the fan-favorites, like this new 991 in mixed greys and blues that releases next month.

The New Balance 99x series is everywhere in 2020, from the return of the 992 to JoeFreshGoods’ killer All-Star Weekend project. As the year’s early releases continue their run of popularity, the Boston-based footwear brand is rolling our even more excellent options for their fans, focusing on the silhouettes we all know and love. This week, the famous 991 surfaced in a new color option, set to release in the coming weeks. Featuring a Made in UK construction, the latest 991 features a range of grey tones on its mesh base layer and pigskin overlays that cover the quarter panel and mudguard. Next, a flash of teal is added to the shank overlay, while a deep navy blue heel counter wraps around the rear of the shoe.
