New Balance’s 990v5 has been a huge selling point for the brand since its debut in 2019, helping propel them to the hype status they’ve attained today. Now, the retro-styled runner is back in a new “Covert Green” colorway for 2020.

The New Balance 990v5 is coming off of a massive debut year in 2019. Marked by collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore, Beams, size? YCMC, and more, the fifth iteration in the beloved line of 990s is a smash hit, and rightfully so. Now, the Boston-based brand continues to release new colorways of the v5 in the new decade, like this week’s “Covert Green” look. The new color scheme rebuilds the runner in layers of olive green drab, which varies in tone from the lighter mesh and suede layers to the darker TPU and ballistic overlays along the toe box and collar.
