New Balance’s fresh 90/60 silhouette first launched last month, in collaboration with JoeFreshGoods. Now, the wild new silhouette has surfaced in its first in-line colorway, coming soon in the ‘Sea Salt’ palette of neutral tones.

Back in May, New Balance tapped collaborative partner JoeFreshGoods to help debut the 90/60, a wild new silhouette from the Boston-based brand. The shoe is a bit of a departure from what we typically expect from the brand, combining a heavily layered upper with a unique new midsole tooling that looks like a futuristic concept shoe. Constructed from two components, this midsole combines standard EVA rubber with NB’s Abzorb cushioning creating a striking mix accentuated by its large, swooping curves. The upper also featured some unique new layering, most notably using the panelling to craft their signature large ‘N’ logos on either side of the shoe. This week, the 90/60 surfaced in its first standard colorway, dressing the shoe in a neutral palette of grey, tan, and cream tones to form the ‘Sea Salt’ color scheme seen below.

New Balance’s first in-line colorways of the new 90/60 silhouette have surfaced for release overseas, with a tentative drop date of July 16th, 2022. Dressed in neutral tones for a ‘Sea Salt’ look, this pair will be available from retailers like 43Einhalb, with a wider release likely to follow shortly. Check out the product shots below for a better look at the new style, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more New Balance release news.
