The New Balance 860v2 has had a big year in 2024, at first quietly returning to the brand’s arsenal before appearing in some high-profile collaborations. The Boston brand has some great in-line styles to close out the year, including this “Midnight” pair.
The 860v2 returned to New Balance’s catalog in 2023, after a short-lived run in 2018 that included a highly-lauded collaboration with Dime. The Boston brand has quietly been releasing excellent in-line styles all year, as well as special projects like Up There‘s two colorful styles, a CdG pack, and size?.
New Balance is ending the year on a high note with their latest standard-issue pairs of the 860v2. This week, a smooth “Silver Midnight” pair has surfaced, already available from select overseas retailers. This pair features a dark grey mesh base with navy and light blue shades for its overlays. The rest of the shoe comes in shades of grey, with off-white laces to complete the look.

New Balance’s latest colorways of the 860v2 retro have not been given a US release date yet, but are currently available from select retailers like END. Seen here in its “Silver Midnight” color scheme, pairs come with a price tag of $150.
