New Balance’s retro archives are filled with some truly incredible sneakers. This week, the brand’s 725 model made another surprise appearance in Japan, launching in two subtle ‘Charcoal’ and ‘Beige’ colorways, available now.

The New Balance 725 is back once again, continuing to pop up in beautiful color schemes that are largely regionally exclusive to Japan. The 725 first appeared on our radar early in Fall 2021, when two similar tonal color schemes marked the debut of the 725 in the modern sneaker market. Since then, the silhouette has remained dormant, and this new release seems to confirm that the retro runner is being specifically marketed to the Japanese market. Regardless, we are keeping our eyes peeled for these to release stateside, because the new ‘Charcoal’ and ‘Beige’ pairs are beautiful. Both feature tonal upper accented by small hits of reflective 3M, as well as reflective silver ‘N’ logos.
