The New Balance 580 is back. Originally released in 1996, the distance running shoe recently debuted in collaboration with Palace, before adding new in-line styles like this ‘Natural Indigo’ look to their upcoming releases.

New Balance has recently unveiled a number of collaborations featuring their 1996 580 running shoe. From Palace’s release earlier this month to the upcoming Stray Rats project, it appears the Boston brand is gearing up for a full retro run of the silhouette, as evidenced by this week’s emergence of new in-line color schemes. Today, we got an official look at a new ‘Natural Indigo’ colorway of the mode, which begins with a cream white mesh base layer. The namesake indigo tones are added in suede to the toes, heels, and midfoot sections, as well as the brand’s ‘N’ logos which are also outlined in reflective 3M silver. Classic 580 branding appears on both tongues, while a faded white midsole with Rollbar technology rests underfoot.
