New Balance’s retro release of the 580 continues to line up in new colorways for 2023, this week emerging in a ‘Grey Multi’ look that combines a dark base with plenty of colorful accents.
In 1996, New Balance released the 580, a new distance running shoe that paired their signature layered uppers with a chunky midsole. Now, they have revived the design, bringing the 580 into the modern day and releasing a number of exciting new color schemes, like the ‘Grey Multi’ style that emerged earlier this week. The new look begins with a hot pink mesh base layer, adding suede mudguard overlays in various shades of dark grey. The quarter panels come in an anthracite black nubuck leather, while the ‘N’ logos come in dark grey. The tongues feature a bright green and blue badge, while the two-tone midsole comes in lime green and faded orange.

New Balance’s latest colorway of their retro 580 runner has not been given a set release date, though they are expected to launch sometime in the coming weeks.
