New Balance 580 BlackThis year New Balance revived another of their iconic retro running shoes, the 1996 580. Originally built for distance, the plush comfort and simple style make it perfect for the modern market. This week, a new black pair has emerged, coming soon.

The 580 from New Balance is the latest ’90s model to see a brand new string of releases from the Boston brand, reviving another vintage running shoe for lifestyle purposes. After a string of collaborations including projects from Palace, Stray Rats, and CdGH, they have released a number of standard-issue colorways, with plenty more on the horizon. This week, a simple black style has surfaced, expected to release soon. The model features black across the mesh base layer and suede overlays, with hints of black cracked leather at the midfoot and ‘N’ logos. Finally, small touches of grey scattered throughout complete the look.
