New Balance’s 550 just keeps coming. With new colorways surfacing on a weekly basis, we are doing our best to curate our favorite releases. This week, bright teal and pink accents add plenty of color to the retro model.
New Balance’s retro 550 basketball shoe has emerged in a wide range of new colorways in the last few weeks, with plenty more on the way. Fleshing out their Fall and Winter 2022 lineup, the Boston footwear brand has unveiled another new addition to the silhouette’s arsenal this week, decorating the shoe in “90s” and “Miami” theme, with a range of colorful accents. The pair features a white leather forefoot, with black piping accents. The heels feature teal suede counters, a purple mesh base, and hot pink leather overlays, all of which are reflected on the tongue branding. Milky yellow ‘N’ logos appear on either side, while bright 550 branding completes the look.

New Balance’s latest color palette of the 550 retro basketball shoe have not been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime in Fall 2022. Featuring mixed neutral uppers with accent colors in teal, pink, and purple, this pair will likely be avialable directly from the brand’s website as well as select retailers for $110.
