New Balance’s 550 is adding more and more new colorways to the lineup. This week, the silhouette emerged in a smooth ‘Greyscale’ edition, coming sometime soon.

Have you had enough of New Balance finding new ways to craft a white/grey color scheme? Good, because neither have they. The 550 receives another neutral update this week, adding to the already lengthy list of greyscale color schemes the shoe has seen since its first retro release in 2020. The latest version features a largely white leather upper, adding a black mesh collar section and inner lining, as well as the piping surrounding the pale grey ‘N’ logos. More pale grey hints are added to the mid layers, tongue lining, and outsole to complete the look.

New Balance continues to produce more colorways of the fan-favorite 550, including the ‘Greyscale’ neutral palette that is set to release in the coming weeks. Dressed in white, cream, grey, and black, pairs will likely be available directly from the brand’s website and select retailers for $110.
