The 1906R from new Balance is one of their best models in recent years, combining their classic styling with modern technologies. With so many colorways already under their belt, the Boston brand still manages to impress with fresh styles on a regular basis. This week, we got an early look at a new Overdyed series coming to the 1906, debuting with this ‘Sapphire Blue’ palette. Dark shades of blue are applied across the model’s mesh and suede layers, with a spotty treatment to give them the look of a hand dyed shoe. Darker navy blue shades make up the plastic components, while the distressed detailing even makes its way to the heels of the sole unit for a worn-in look.
