New Balance is still in the early stages of their rollout of the 1906R silhouette, a relatively new design built on the same midsole as the popular 2002R. The latest look mixes shades of white and cream with green accents, coming soon.

New Balance’s 1906R silhouette made its debut in collaboration with thisisneverthat earlier this month, and is beginning to surface in a wave of new standard-issue models. The Boston brand has maintained an excellent standard of building up hype for their new models in recent years, and it appears the 1906R will borrow this same game plan. The play starts with limited-edition, high profile collaborations, followed by a slow trickle of in-line styles released in limited numbers before hitting the market at large. This week, we have another early look at a new style for the silhouette, which begins with a white mesh base layer before adding synthetic white overlays to the upper. The plastic heel counter comes in a light tan shade, while a sandy midsole and forest green accents complete the look.
