New Balance’s recent 1906R silhouette has a number of new styles set to release throughout the year, but this week’s emergence of a Cordura nylon pair has piqued our interest. Dressed in tonal ‘Coyote’ tan, we expect them to arrive later this year.

New Balance’s 1906R has emerged in a wave of new in-line colorways over the past month, finally delivering on a new silhouette many of us have been excited about this year. While some of their basic color schemes are currently available directly from the brand, an upcoming release that emerged this week switches up the materials for a more durable, Winter-ready style. The 1906R Cordura brings the tough nylon textile to the silhouette, crafting the shoe’s underlay for added protection, while the outer layers remain in their usual synthetic or leather makeup, with a plastic heel cage to lock you in from the rear. So far, the Cordura edition has emerged in just one colorway, which paints the shoe in a tonal ‘Coyote’ tan shade.
