New Balance’s fresh 1906R silhouette continues to roll out in new colorways as part of the shoe’s ongoing introduction. This week, a new pair featuring ‘Castlerock’ grey and indigo accents launched quietly, and is available now.

New Balance’s 1906R has emerged in a wave of new in-line colorways over the past month, finally delivering on a new silhouette many of us have been excited about this year. Inspired by turn-of-the-century running shoe fashion, the new model mixes a mesh underlay with synthetic or suede overlays, as well as a plastic heel cage to keep your feet locked in place. Fleshing out the new sneaker’s lineup of available pairs, the Boston brand has added a new ‘Castlerock’ style of the 1906 just this week. Featuring a grey mesh base layer, the shoe’s outer overlays are added in a Castlerock tone, which lands somewhere between brown and grey. Natural indigo accents are added to the ‘N’ logos and lacing system as well as the outsole to complete the look.
