We have patiently been watching New Balance’s rollout of the 1906R silhouette, which kicked off with a release from thisisnverthat last month. Now, the shoe is coming in in-line colorways, like the jet black pair seen here.

New Balance’s fresh 1906R silhouette is still in its early staged of rolling out to stores, with a number of collaborations lined up for the coming months. However, the brand has slowly unveiled more and more in-line colorways of the retro-styled model, mimicking the excellent hype-building slow release strategy they’ve employed for new styles in recent years. This week, we got an early look at a new standard-issue pair of the 1906R, dressing the shoe in a jet black mesh and suede upper. The stitching stands out in a grey tone, while the silver-lined ‘N’ logo and tan-colored midsole complete the look.

New Balance’s upcoming Black colorway of the 1906R silhouette has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to arrive in stores in the coming months. Dressed in jet black with a tan midsole, pairs will likely be available directly from New Balance’s website along with select retailers for $150.
