New Balance’s ‘Protection Pack’ featuring the 2002R made waves last Summer as one of the hottest in-line releases of the year. Now, the pack’s rough-cut style has appeared on the 1906D, coming soon.

The New Balance Protection Pack is back, taking over new silhouettes, and likely the sneaker world once again. Last seen in the form of the 2002R, the rough-edged pairs were some of the hottest shoes on the market in 2021, despite being nearly impossible to get a hold of. Now, with new colors of the 2002 on the way, the Boston footwear brand is bringing the recent 1906D silhouette into the fold, decorating the shoe in a number of colorways in the Protection signature style. The latest of these new looks features a white mesh and suede upper, adding black to the shoe’s ‘N’ logos and heel counters, while hints of gold adorn the midsole and interior lining.
