New Balance’s MADE in England 1500 silhouette returns for another release this month, sticking with the neutral color palette for its second release of the new year. Decked out in grey, black, and white, this “Greyscale” colorway is coming soomn.
The New Balance 1500 might be one of the brand’s most important sneakers. Designed by footwear design legend Steven Smith in 1989, the 1500 is a slightly oversized distance running shoe, the silhouette is built to provide comfort and stability on long runs. Constructed from a mix of New Balance’s favorite pigskin suede, tumbled leather, and mesh, all mounted on top of ENCAP cushioning midsole, the 1500 is built for wearing. The premium MADE in England iteration of the 1500 resurfaced in another new colorway this week, which covers the vintage runner in a palette of neutral colors to create a greyscale color scheme. The look begins with a flat grey mesh base layer, reinforced by darker grey suede overlays and white mid-layers. Black suede quarter panels from the embroidered ‘N’ logos, while black lacing and a white midsole complete the look.
