Vans and Lons Angeles’ resident Museum of Contemporary Arts have teamed up for a new capsule collection, showcasing three different California artist’s work across a range of footwear and apparel, coming next week.

Vans’ penchant for celebrating art in the world around them has helped deliver some exciting collaborations over the past few years, applying famous works of art onto sneakers, blending the two worlds together in a unique way. Essentially plotting out a world tour of projects with the estates of various artists or through teaming up with a museum collection directly, Vans continues to push the boundaries of who footwear brands collaborate with. This week, the Southern California brand unveiled an upcoming release with Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Arts, specifically showcasing three Californian artists through sneakers and apparel. Brenna Youngblood, Frances Stark, and Judy Baca have all been chosen for this release, applying their work in graphic patterns across two pairs of sneakers each, alongside a small collection of matching apparel.
