With more brands adopting organic slides to their roll-out, Nike has landed a Mathew M. Williams collaboration that will bring forth the MMW x Nike Slide.
With the slide being revealed today, the slide arrives at a weird time with the sneaker culture’s climate being a little edgy with Kanye just calling out adidas’ CEO on their new 2022 adilette slide that Ye calls a “fake yeezy”. Now Nike will be dropping their own slide that again, appears to take inspiration from the mastermind himself, Kanye. Featuring a foam design, the slide arrives with perforations throughout along with oval cutouts across the sides that look very familiar to another silhouette from Kanye’s collection. For colorway, this specific offering arrives in all black but expect a handful of colorways to release alongside the pair. For branding, a MMW x Nike logo appears on the upper portion.

The new Nike slide appears to be dropping in Spring of 2023 so you’ll have to wait a couple of more months for the new silhouette. When the pair does drop, expect to find yours via select Nike retailers and Nike.com.
