The New Balance 850 is back in another special-edition collaboration this week, this time courtesy of Japan’s MITA Sneakers and STUDIO SEVEN. Featuring a colorful palette and Pac-Man-inspired marketing, the latest New Balance 850 drops on Tuesday.

As the New Balance 850 continues its path to sneaker-world domination throughout 2020, the Boston-based brand continues to refresh the storied runner with new colorways and collaborations to help keep things fresh. This week, the latest comes to us all the way from Japan, where legendary retailer MITA Sneakers has tapped STUDIO SEVEN for a bright new take on the retro runner. The look begins with a plain white base for the 850’s mesh underlay, reinforced by cream and off-white leather and suede stretching from the mudguard, covering the quarter panels and heels. Black suede also makes an appearance on the toe cap and heel counter, while the additions of a hot pink lacing system, teal blue laces, and purple inner lining add some color to the mix.
