Marvel’s releases in the sneaker world have ramped up significantly in recent years, transforming their characters into footwear form. This week, a new pair of the PUMA Suede surfaced this week, sporting Miles Morales’ signature red and black Spider-Man suit.
The popularity of comics has exploded in recent years, after the rise of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe in the last fifteen years. The comic giant has largely focused on projects with adidas over the last few years, releasing multiple projects each year. However, they first deviated with their licensing rights last year, lending the X-Men to Ronnie Fieg and Asics for an immensely popular mystery box release. Now, PUMA is getting a shot at the Marvel world, transforming Miles Morales’ signature Spidey look into their classic Suede sneaker. The silhouette sports a black upper with PUMA branding in white with red stitching. Red laces and Marvel logos on the tongues add some colors, while the heels feature a rubberized graphic of the Spider-Man logo taken straight from Morales’ comic suit.

The first release from between Marvel’s iconic characters and PUMA has been scheduled to release later this month, on June 22nd, 2024. Featuring Miles Morales’ black & red suit in the form of the classic Suede sneaker, pairs will be available from the brand’s website as well as select retailers for an expected $90.
