New Balance’s hot streak of collaborations continues this month, as the brand’s Japanese division recently unveiled a new project coming later this month. Teaming up with Levi’s Denim, the two have recrafted the vintage 1300 in an extremely limited new colorway.

The New balance 1300 is back this year, keeping on schedule with its regular releases every five years. 2020, however, has been a landmark year for New Balance so far, as the brand’s most popular lines are growing more and more popular amongst both fashion and sneaker heads. So, the celebration of the 1985 1300 has had an added hype to it over the past couple of months. Now, New Balance is unveiling their next collaboration involving the 1300, which sees them teaming up with Levi’s for an extremely limited release in Japan. Limited to just 36 pairs worldwide, the Levi’s iteration of the New Balance 1300 goes all in on materials, utilizing some Cone Mills White Oak XX52 denim, whicbh was discontinued at the end of 2018 when White Oak closed their doors after 112 years. So, with the limited amount of dark denim left available, Levi’s is pairing them with a shaggy light brown suede and orange leather accents. This will likely be one of the most limited public sneaker releases of all time.
