Ronnie Fieg took to social media to announce a collaboration with Disney was in the works and fans were ecstatic. A couple days later he posted a Kith x Disney Converse Chuck 70 that showcases the evolution of Mickey Mouse.

Disney plays a special role in many lives. For many, the company provided us entertainment as a kid growing up and played a major role in who and what we are. While they’re cartoons and looked at to be fun, there’s a lot of teaching lessons about life in Disney movies that we use everyday. When Ronnie announced the collaboration, we knew his vision would showcase vintage disney while mixing in the new and that’s exactly what we got.

The chuck 70 arrives with an all black upper that features a leather base. While lace holes and laces take on black as well, the dark beginning allows a graphic along the mudguard to shine. As the design starts around the heel and flows to the toe, Mickey Mouse is pictured from the past to the present. Following the wide arrange of colors, themes and nostalgia, a white midsole that dons a Kith box logo finishes off the design.

While a release date has not been announced, it looks like Ronnie has been giving teaser images everyday now since the reveal of the collaboration, so a release will most likely go down this month.
