Kawhi Leonard and New Balance are quite the pair. Known for their subtle “Fun Guy” shirts, the two have also had some of the hottest sneaker releases of the past year. Now, they’re kicking off 2020 with four silhouettes in the new “Inspire the Dream” pack.
Kawhi Leonard’s partnership with New Balance has been one of the most exciting team ups to follow in sneakers the past few years. The legendary defender has helped revive the Boston brand’s basketball category with the OMN1S, a high-top sneaker with plenty of opportunity for unique colorways, which they’ve taken full advantage of. Additionally, they always release a lifestyle silhouette alongside Kawhi’s special releases, allowing for more accessibility to fans who spend less time on the court. Their latest collection, the “Inspire the Dream” capsule, pays homage to Leonard’s high school, Martin Luther King High in Riverside, CA. In addition to the OMN1S, New Balance is also including the 850, 997s, and 574 silhouettes in the same deep navy blue colorway with red and gold accents.

New Balance’s latest collection created by the Clipper’s Kawhi Leonard is scheduled to drop later this week on January 30th, 2020. Themed after his high school, the four-shoe collection’s price list has not yet been made available, though they are expected to all be above their standard retail values.
