Junya Watanabe’s MAN label has been teaming up with New Balance for several seasons now, and 2020 is keeping with that tradition. Earlier this week, the two released their latest three footwear options, including the Comp100, 670, and ML574.

The ongoing collaboration between Junya Watanabe and New Balance is back for the new decade. Formerly the protégé of COMME des GARÇON lead Rey Kawakubo, Watanabe has carved his own space for himself with his self-named brand. As a part of his label, the Japanese designer’s MAN division has been teaming up with the Boston-based New Balance periodically for special footwear projects, usually released in threes. This week, the two added another round of sneakers to their ongoing collection, this time featuring the Comp100, 670, and ML574, each with their own unique colorscheme. First up, the Comp100 features a navy blue suede upper with a grey heel counter with Watanabe’s JWCdG printed across it. Next is the 670, which features black suede overlays on top of a white and grey base layer, completed by subtle red accents. Finally, the ML574, which comes in an all white leather and mesh construction paired with a gum rubber outsole.
