Los Angele-based artist Joshua Vides first teased his debut sneaker collaboration last month. Now, we have a full look at the paint-splattered collection featuring the 327 and 57/40, launching this week.

Joshua Vides’ signature art style first exploded into the sneaker world several years ago, when one of his “outline” sneaker customs made the rounds on popular footwear blogs, quickly inspiring sneakerheads around the world to add to their white sneakers with some simple sharpie lines. Now, the “Outline” style is synonymous with Vides’ work in the footwear world, and this week, Josh finally unveiled his first officially-sanctioned collaboration, teaming up with New Balance for a collection of paint-splattered gear. Inspired by his initial years as a graffiti artist, wearing New Balance to go out and paint, the collection features the New Balance 327 and 57/40, the former in all-black with white paint speckles, and the latter in white with black outlines and splatters. The apparel matches the footwear, adding splatter in either black or white, contrasting the pieces base color¬†

Joshua Vides’ first-ever project with New Balance, featuring both footwear and apparel, has been scheduled to launch later this week, on November 6th, 2021. Highlighting the 327 and 57/40 sneakers in contrasting paint-splattered colorways, the collection will be available exclusively via the artist’ website.
