Montreal’s JJJJound has an excellent stable of collaborators for their footwear projects, dropping heat with Reebok, Vans, New Balance, Bape, and many more. This week, they’ve teased their first team-up with Salomon, featuring the XT-Wings 2 trail runner.
JJJJound’s impressive arsenal of footwear collaborations is adding a new partner this year. After taking the sneaker world by storm, delivering their signature minimal aesthetic across shoes from Vans, New Balance, and Reebok, the Montreal brand is turning to France’s Salomon, crafting their version of the XT-Wings 2, a popular trail runner originally released in 2011. Only one photo of the shoe has been teased so far, but it gives us a good sense of what to expect from the full pair. The engineered mesh base and taped overlays come in white, with royal blue sprinkled throughout. The midsole accents come in a matching blue shade, while the JJJJound logo appears on the heels in Salomon’s own font.

Featuring the 2011 XT-Wings 2 trail runner, the clean white and blue look will likely debut through the JJJJ website, followed by a wider release from the French outdoor brand.
