JJJJound’s last release with New Balance arrived early this year, featuring the 991. Now, they’ve teased another project for this year, this time giving the 2002R a soft blue treatment for the holiday season.
JJJJound’s sneaker releases have been plentiful this year, with the Montreal brand releasing projects from their entire stable of collaborators. So far, we’ve seen their take on silhouettes from Reebok, Vans, Salomon, Crocs, Bape, and New Balance. Last week, the Canadian brand teased another release with Boston’s New Balance, this time featuring the immensely popular 2002R runner in a special dusty blue makeup. The pair begins with a grey mesh base layer, adding bright blue leather mid layers near the toes and collars of the shoe. The model’s outer suede layers come in a faded blue tone to add some depth, while white laces and midsoles along with black ‘N’ logos complete the look.
