HAL Studios, the design division of Australia’s Highs & Lows boutique, has reunited with Asics to follow up on their GEL-1130 from this Spring, crafting an olive-toned ‘Forest’ colorway for their latest project.

This Spring, Australian sneaker boutique Highs & Lows teamed up with Asics to craft their take on the GEL-1130, a shoe that remains one of the best low-key releases so far this year. Featuring a neutral palette and elevated materials, the ‘Smoke Grey’ look quickly sold out from both partners as well as retailers globally. Now, HAL Studios, the brand’s design division, has reunited with Asics for another release of the GEL-1130, this time dubbed the MK II ‘Forest’. Featuring the same elevated aesthetic, this pair begins with a dark olive green mesh base for the upper, with matching suede overlays making up the Asics tiger stripes and toe cap. Mid layers are added in rustic brown leather and pale grey suede, while hints of orange complete the new look.
