END. Clothing and New Balance have reunited. Once again, the two have crafted a special-edition release, building on the avian theme they pioneered in 2019 with the new “Grey Heron” 1500 runner.
The last time we saw END. Clothing and New Balance team up was for the “Grey Gull” 878 runner, a vintage style with a new avian-inspired grey color scheme. Now, just shy of a year since the original, the London and Boston-based brands have readied their follow up, the New Balance 1500 “Grey Heron”. Featuring a similar premise, the Grey Heron also applies a largely grey upper to the 1500, with added colorful details inspired directly by the bird’s bright feathers and eye-catching beak. As a Made in England pair, this New Balance 1500 comes made from top-of-the-line suede and leather, while a feather-printed box completes the avian inspiration.
