DTLR is reuniting with New Balance this week, releasing another colorway of the 990v3. This time, the release drops all colors in favor of a smooth ‘Gr3yscale’ color scheme, coming on Friday.
Longtime partners New Balance and DTLR are back with a new release this month. Building on their relationship, which stems from the DMV’s love of the Boston brand, DTLR has routinely released excellent signature color schemes of some of NB’s best silhouettes, typically from within the 990 family. This week’s drop features another pair of the 990v3, following up on their ‘Miami Drive‘ release from May 2022. This time, they are heading in the opposite direction of Miami’s signature teal and hot pink colors, opting for a ‘Gr3yscale’ palette of black, grey, and white. The pair features a mixed base layer of white mesh for the forefoot and grey for the heels, adding black suede and leather to the midfoot, while different shades of grey make up the mudguard and heel counters. The tongues come in a premium black leather, while a two-tone midsole completes the look.

DTLR and New Balance’s release of their ‘Gr3yscale’ 990v3 is scheduled to release later this week, on Friday, February 24th, 2023.
