Montreal’s Dime skate shop has been pushing out some exciting projects with Vans in the last few years. Now, the California-based brand has tasked Dime with the debut of a brand new skate shoe, the Wayvee, coming this month.

Dime and Vans are no strangers to each other, having worked together on a number of projects over the years since the Montreal shop was founded in 2005. Most recently, the two worked together to revive the Vans Skate Mid Skool, a mid-cut version of the beloved Old Skool. Now, the Dime and Vans teams are reuniting once more, this time to launch a brand new skate-ready sneaker, the Wayvee. The new silhouette likely takes its inspiration directly from the beloved Old Skool, reworking the design to include modern materials like translucent TPU mesh for the upper and Vans’ ProCush rubber in the midsole. For this release, Dime has crafted two signature colorways of the model, one in navy blue and white and the other in shades of cream and off-white, both completed by Dime-branded tongues and outsoles.
