Dime and Vans have released a number of projects in recent years, but our favorite is 2020’s three-piece Half-Cab pack. Now, the two are running it back with a volcano-themed Half Cab ’92 for the silhouette’s anniversary.

Dime was founded in 2005 by a small group of skaters in Montreal, creating skate videos and tees under the name Dimestore Crew. As the brand started to pick up steam, the name was shortened and the shirts were being stocked amongst local skate shops. Today, Dime has grown to become a well-known name in the skate and streetwear scenes, releasing seasonal apparel collections worldwide. This week, the Montreal brand unveiled their latest project with Vans, adding another colorway of the Half Cab ’92 to their long list of collaborative sneakers. Featuring a volcano theme, this pair comes in an oxford tan suede upper, with black midsoles and interior lining. Dime’s branding appears on the outsoles and outer heels, while a special suede hangtag completes the look.

The latest collaboration from Montreal’s Dime and Vans has been scheduled to debut this week, on September 17th, 2022, followed by a wider release on September 22nd. The tonal brown colorway of the Half Cab ’92 will be available directly from the Dime website, likely with a price tag in the $90 range.
