New Balance and COMME des GARÇON HOMME are back, reuniting for their first release since the 57/40 in 2021. This time, the two are working on a black-based 550, set to launch later this Fall.

Collaborations between New Balance and COMME des GARÇON’s HOMME division seem to arrive on an annual basis, releasing once a year, usually in the Fall. Past projects have included last year’s 57/40, and the Pro Court the year before. This week, we have our first look at their project for this year, which arrives in the form of fan-favorite 550. In typical CdG fashion, this 550 features a nearly total-black perforated leather upper, save for white branding for the 550 marking, and the heel’s CdGH and New Balance dual logos. The shoe is mounted on a a white midsole with black outsole to complete the look.
