Edison Chen’s CLOT has caught fire with their take on the Nike Cortez this year, which has released in a few simple colorways in recent months. This week, the brand’s founder teased a new ‘Forrest Gump’ edition, coming soon.
CLOT’s take on the Nike Cortez is a unique departure from the Swoosh’s usual collaborations, reworking the silhouette into a 3-in-1 set. Featuring the main shoe with a thin midsole, a removable sleeve that splits the look in two also features the full midsole unit, combining for a brand new look. So far, a small batch of colorways have released through Juice stores, most recently with the ‘Bruce Lee‘ color scheme. Now, founder Edison Chen has shown off another upcoming look, this time in the famous ‘Forrest Gump’ color blocking made popular by the classic Tom Hanks flick.
