CLOT and Nike’s 3-in-1 version of the Cortez is still rolling out new colorways, with a special ‘Varsity Maize’ color scheme emerging this week, and expected to release this Spring.
CLOT and Nike have reunited this year for a special take on the classic Cortez, the brand’s original sneaker. Giving the silhouette a unique twist, Edison Chen’s brand has concocted a slip-on midsole that divides the shoe into three possible wearable combinations. While a limited release of the white and black style already dropped via JUICE stores, this week we got our first look at the ‘Varsity Maize’ pair. Coloring the Cortez’s leather upper in bright yellow with black Swooshes and laces, the slip-on cover comes in jet black, with hits of yellow along the added outsole and part of the Swoosh that is printed on.
