Converse and Chinatown Market have announced a new collaboration together, teaming up for an exciting set of Chuck 70s featuring ultraviolet sensitive uppers. Check out the new look below, available first at ComplexCon this weekend.

Mike Cherman’s Chinatown Market has been on fire lately, pumping out new and exciting collaborations on a regular basis. This week, the New York-based brand announced their next project would see them team up with Converse, working on two pairs of the fabled Chuck 70 to release at ComplexCon this weekend. Dropping in high and low iterations, both pairs first appear as standard-issue Converse Chucks, featuring off-white uppers and white midsoles, with the addition of Chinatown Market’s bold yellow branding on the tongue. However, when exposed to ultraviolet light, the canvas uppers light up in bold shades purple, orange and blue. The UV effect makes these a serious contender for one of the best releases of the month.
