Bodega and New Balance have formed a powerhouse partnership out of the Northeast, collaborating on a number of beloved NB silhouettes in sought-after colors. This week, the Boston retailer teased a new 574 project, coming soon.

The last project we saw from Bodega and New Balance was a massive hit, celebrating the boutique retailer’s fifteenth anniversary with a limited-edition release of the classic 990v3. Plenty of fans were able to get their hands on a pair, thanks to Bodega’s excellent handling of its in-house release. Now, the two have cooked up another project, which was teased in the Boston store’s recent seasonal campaign. This time, the two will be reworking the vintage 574 model, a running shoe originally introduced in 1988 and now widely regarded as an essential lifestyle model. While very little is known about the release right now, we do have a good look at the Bodega 574 in both baby blue and bright yellow colorways, both of which appear to be constructed largely from suede and feature a hefty dose of 3M areas.

The next collaboration between Boston brands Bodega and New Balance has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to debut sometime before the year is out. The bold yellow and blue colorways will likely launch as Bodega exclusives, alongside their in-house apparel.
