Going hard all 2020 long with the BAPE STA, BAPE is back again with another inspired silhouette dubbed the “SK8 STA” which will be debuted in the new year.
While the BAPE STA is obviously inspired by Nike’s iconic Air Force 1 Low, BAPE will be taking another silhouette for inspiration next year, the Dunk. what looks to feature both High and Low variants, A Bathing Ape will be once again taking advantage of the current sneaker market with a Dunk look-alike that still looks unique and separated from the original. Revealed in multiple colorways, expect the sneaker to feature a handful of new makeovers in 2021 just like the BAPE STA did this year. From early images, it appears suede is mainly used throughout while leather also plays a vital role. Featuring the BAPE STA logo on the side panelings, the brand even goes the extra mile with including tonal BAPE camo on overlays to create their own identity on their Dunk take.

As of right now, we aren’t too sure when or what colorways will be hitting the market but expect the brand to start the year off right with the sneaker releases at the early part of 2021. UPDATE: The BAPE SK8 STA will be dropping on February 6th via Bape stores and Bape.com in three colorways linked below. The retail price is set for $289 each. Stay tuned for more details.
