Most recently known Three Stripes collaborations, BAPE appears to be switching things up with an impressive collaboration with New Balance on their 2002R.

Originally released in 2002 as one of New Balance’s most innovative runners, the 2002R version is an updated new take to the classic edition while keeping the aesthetic and style mutually exclusive. While the silhouette has been trending up for the past couple of years and has been on the other end of many collaborations, NB will be turning up the heat just a little more with the help from A Bathing Ape.

From close-up detailed images, it appears the new duo will be releasing two color options, in tones of green and neutral greys. BAPE adds what they do best with their signature camo print covering the silhouette along with the globally recognized Shark teeth motif being included on the midsoles around the heel. To further branding, the BAPE STA logo is included onto the vamp which concludes the images of the shoe. It also appears the pair of kicks will be arriving in a special collaboratory box.
