Asics and BAPE are reuniting for the first time in nearly 6 years, this time collaborating on a limited-edition colorway of the GEL-1090, complete with A Bathing Ape’s signature camo print and details pulled directly from the famous WGM Shark hoodies.

The last time we saw a collaborative project from BAPE and Asics came in 2015, when the two crafted two limited-edition colorways of the GEL-Kayano trainer. Now, the two have returned for another special project, rejoining the two Japanese brands for a rendition of the more recent GEL-1090 with a color scheme inspired by BAPE’s signature Shark hoodies. The new style begins with A Bathing Ape’s signature camo print across the mesh base layer, with olive green suede overlays protecting the mudguard and heels. Asics’ signature vector logo appears on the lateral sides in safety orange, while the BAPE Shark takes over the medial sides of each shoe. Dual branded tongues, heels, and insoles complete the look.
