atmos and New Balance are back this season with another special release for the Japanese retailer. This time around, the 2010 is getting a makeover in a subtle “Wasabi” green color scheme.
atmos is one of the most prolific retailers when it comes to SMU colors. The Japanese chain has released countless signature styles since opening its doors in 2000s, with many of their special releases climbing into the ranks of grail-status sneakers. Projects from Nike, adidas, Vans, New Balance, and many more are in their vast catalog, and this season they’ll add another with a fresh take on the New Balance 2010. This pair will come in a “Wasabi” green theme, which features a cream white mesh base layer with varying shades of pale green across it’s suede outer layers. NB’s branding hits in a dark grey tone, with yellowed Abzorb cushioning pods in the heels. Typically, these SMU releases are exclusive to atmos in Japan, but their appearance in NB official images, and in the hands of American photographer @ad__sneaks hopefully mean a global drop is in the cards for this beautiful new pair.
