Asics sneakers have always featured top-of-the-line construction and materials, based on years of the brand’s research into running and sports science. Now, Asics is celebrating that history with the “Monozokuri” pack, dropping this week.

Japanese running brand Asics has always held a penchant for quality craftsmanship in design in its products. This week, they are celebrating that history with a two-pack of sneakers united by the “Monozokuri” theme, an idea or spirit in Japan that places great value in craftmanship, encouraging an attitude of pride in one’s work as well as dedication to the various skills needed and the pursuit of perfection. The brand’s GEL-Kayano 14 and GEL-Kayano Trainer 21 shoes make up the canvas for this pack, which rebuilds both silhouettes in premium leathers with extreme attention to the details of both pairs. Featured in contrasting black and white color schemes, the GEL-Kayano 14 takes on the darker look, featuring a blacked-out leather upper with cream white detailing and leather laces. The GEL-Kayano Trainer 21 is the opposite, arriving in a cream white leather and mesh upper, while the black inner lining and off-white overlays complete the look.
