Asics’ newly minted GEL-Nimbus 10.1 is still in short supply, with only a few colors currently on the market. However, they are cooking up some new styles for the silhouette, like this “Metallic Green” pair, arriving next month.
Asics’ GEL family of sneakers has been a huge source of inspiration for the Japanese brand in recent years, used as a platform to revive some past hits and engineer brand new models. This year, the 2008 GEL-Nimbus 10.1 made its debut, updating the icon with new tooling borrowed from the Kayano 14, another current fan-favorite model.
After its slow rollout in late Summer, Asics finally launched their first round of in-line colors earlier this month. Already, we have an early look at more styles set to drop later this year, like this “Metallic Green” pair. The look features a shimmering silver mesh base layer, adding the chrome green shade in synthetic overlays. The shoe’s inner linings and midsoles come in a soft cream white shade to complete the look.

Asics’ new colorways of the GEL-Nimbus 10.1 have not officially been announced yet, but are expected to land next month, on November 22nd, 2024. The “Metallic Green” style will be available from both the brand’s website and select retailers for $160.
