Asics’ Gel technology from the 90s is still going strong. After the debut of the new 360 midsole earlier this year, the Japanese brand has crafted another new silhouette around the full-length cushioning, the Gel-Nandi, launching next week.
Asics’ new Gel-Nandi 360 is a love letter to some of the brand’s most famous vintage running sneakers. Sleek, layered, and packed with a variety of advanced technologies, the latest in the brand’s Gel 360 franchise blurs the line between rugeed off-road use and urban exploration. Beginning with a plain white mesh base layer, the new silhouette applies two sets of overlays to the upper for reinforcement, the outer in a bright yellow tone, and a second midlayer in black to frame the jagged, seemingly random lines of the yellow portions. Asics’ signature stripes create the outermost layer, constructed here in a subtle “Mako Blue” color that lends this Gel-Nandi 360 its name.

Asics’s latest Gel 360-equipped silhouette, the Gel-Nandi, has been schedled to make its debut next week, on November 22nd, 2019. Pairs of the eye-catching silhouette will be available from select retailers like Footdistrict with a retail price of approximately $176.
