Asics is closing out the year strong next week, debuting a brand new silhouette. Dubbed the GEL-Kinetic Fluent, the model combines technical running aspects with plenty of GEL cushioning, and launched in two colors next week.
Asics has been ramping up their SportStyle offerings in recent years, adding new technologies and stylings borrowed from other lines into casual wear options. This has largely been done under the creative direction of Kiko Kostadinov, the Bulgarian designer currently at the helm of the brand’s lifestyle offerings, and a frequent collaborator of the Japanese brand.
This week, Asics has unveiled the latest addition to the growing SportStyle family, another technical runner-inspired silhouette. The GEL-Kinetic Fluent combines a welded upper for a more lightweight construction with a newer midsole element, which uses a hefty dose of GEL cushioning in the heels. Two colors will be available at launch, one in black & maroon shades and a second in Taupe Grey with green and silver accents.

The new model from Asics has been scheduled to release next week, on December 6th, 2024. The fresh silhouette will be available in two colors for its debut, a Black/Maroon pair and a Taupe Grey style, both of which will be available from the brand’s website for $180.
