Asics’ retro releases of the GEL-1130 continues this month, casting the shoe in new colorways like the ‘Kale Green’ and cream white pair coming later this month.
Asics’ GEL-1130 is one of the brand’s latest silhouettes to see a retro release, but has skyrocketed in popularity compared to some of their other SportStyle rereleases. Still riding high off of collaborations with brands like Kith and HAL, the 2008 running shoe continues to impress with its in-line color schemes, the latest of which dresses the shoe in a bright ‘Kale Green’ tone. The look features a cream white mesh underlay, adding synthetic overlays in metallic silver with the namesake green tone on top. Cream white also decorates the laces, and the outsole to complete the look.

Asics’ next in-line colorway of the GEL-1130 has been scheduled to release later this month, on September 23rd, 2023. Dressed in ‘Kale Green’ and cream, pairs will be available from the brand’s website along with select retailers for $95.
