Japan’s AMBUSH and Converse are reuniting for another collaboration featuring the Converse All-Star this month, with Yoon Ahn and co. reworking the classic silhouette to their liking. Check out the AMBUSH CTAS Duck Boot, coming this week.

Yoon Ahn’s AMBUSH label has been producing some of the best signature sneaker collaborations in recent years, with no signs of slowing down. This week, the Japanese brand has prepared a new take on the Chuck Taylor All-Star, transforming the classic basketball shoe into a winter-ready duck boot. Modifications to the CTAS include a tightly-woven mesh upper accompanied by a thick outsole with oversized lugs for traction. The rubberized mudguard is extended up the sides of the shoe, as well as covering the entire forefoot and lacing system. Padded collar lining adds extra comfort, while a series of heel loops ease entry into the boot. The AMBUSH CTAS Duck Boot will be available in two colorways, one black with white branding, and a bright “Blythe” blue with black heel branding.

AMBUSH’s latest creation with Converse, the CTAS Duck Boot, is scheduled to release later this week, on November 24th, 2020. The modified boot will be available in your choice of tonal black or blue from both partners, as well as select Converse retailers with a price tag of $160.
